Any recent problems with H1Bs returning to the US

I saw a message posted by a law firm yesterday advising ALL their clients NOT to
travel outside the US at this time incase they don't get back in.
I understand their caution, but is there any evidence that immigration is turning
away in-status visa-holders at the borders at this point since the horrible attack?
We're intending on going down to Mexico for a week of vacation. We're H1B/H4, in
status, with all our paperwork and although it should not matter, neither of us are
of arab extraction; I'm British, my wife is Chinese.
Am I really taking some huge risk travelling abroad at this point (visa wise)? I
expected that legitimate travel would continue unimpeded.
