Looks like it's pretty good. Get your family here on tourist visas ASAP and tell them to stay. Once the amnesty is declared, they're going to be VERY HARD on granting tourist visas for obvious reasons. hehe!

What exactly is this "amnesty"

What status will the illegals get? Do they get GC? How do they get it? Do they just go to a BCIS Office and say: her I am, I was illegal so far. Please give me my paperwork to make me legal?

Nobody knows yet - legislation has not even been introduced yet.

If the Congress has even a shred of intelligence, this bill ain't gonna fly.
The positives and negatives just don't add up and consequences go well
beyond filling up low paid positions (and providing a certain political
party with votes).
