Am I Qualified for TN Visa?
My under graduate degree is in business administration accounting major(studied in
U.S. late 80's)
I did one year post -graduate diploma program in Microcomputers studies from a
Canadian college in 1996. This program consist of two terms in college & 1 term of
co-op work. Admission to this program requires a degree from an accredited university
or few years (3 yrs) of experience.
I applied for TN visa for a "Computer Systems Analyst" position in 98, but was denied
on the basis of not meeting the educational requirements. I went back again to meet a
NAFTA Officer few days later, but was refused again. The point of entry I applied for
TN visa was Niagara Falls.
Did H1-B later & worked about a year before returning to Canada for a better job.
Presently, I lost my job in Canada, & I would like to go to States again. Finding job
is not a problem. However, the process of going for the visa seems time consuming.
Also, not many employers are willing to wait these days.
Is there any evaluation service which combine my business degree & post-grade
Computer diploma for a single evaluation? Are these accpeted by INS for TN visa?
I worked as a Systems Engineer in the States, & worked as a Systems Analyst
in Canada.
What are my chances for TN visa?

Based on your education and experience, you should qualify for H-1B and TN visas. You
may find the following company helpful if you are planning on working in the US:
www.pacepros.com
You may want to review more about TN and H-1B at:

No, he does NOT qualify for TN status on the basis of his education, as has been
proven twice. With the TN, a degree must be in a closely related subject, or he must
have a 2 year diploma and three years relevent experience.
Unless he can show that his degree is closely related, he'll continue to be refused
applying for a TN.
