Am I married for US immigration purposes
Would I be considered married under US immigration laws if I were a Canadian
permanent resident with a common law spouse in Canada.I am asking this question coz I
have a family based (F2B) petition from my GREEN CARD holder parent in the US whose
priority date will be current in 4 yrs. time. This category is for single over 21
adults, so I cannot get married or else my enititlement would be voided.
