Almost Done I think - Please take a look
Hello
Well I think everything for my K3 is ready to go. One question that just
occurred to me is this. I had always assumed I would need to send in proof
of relationship evidence (probably from reading too much K1 info). But if
we are already married, this is not required correct?
What about at the consular interview. If you are already married & getting
a K3 do they ask for evidence of your relationship or is the fact that you
are married enough?
I have been getting pictures & emails & photocopies ready but now after
looking at everything, it doesn't look like I need it?
Do I need this evidence for either the I130, I129F or consular interview?
Thanks again!
Rich

Hi Rich,
I think it depends on which country your spouse is from, like in my case, I am from the Philippines, I happen to get a hold of a checklist of the things that I would need to have and submit to them once we got approval from BCIS, it says there I have to bring proof of genuine relationship, marriage contract is not enough, as there had been some cases here that people use marriage to get to the states, so you have to make sure you keep plane tickets of your trips together, pics and emails, me, I even printed out our monthly wedding anniversary ecards we sent to each other. Check the US embassy of your spouse's country.
I hope this has help you. Good luck to all of us.
