Address change on IR-1 Visa
Hi all,
When I applied for my visa in August we didn't know where we were going to live and so I put our residence down as my in laws address.
My question is that now we have found an appartment to rent for our first 7 months do I inform the change of address at my POE or would it be easier/less hassle not to mention it and then file a change of address once we're in?
Your comments would be appreciated.
dave (who gets to hand in his notice at the end of the week - Wahoo)

Assuming you will become a permanent resident at the port of entry, you
should submit your address change at that time. They will specifically ask
you if there is a change of address, so that the correct address can be
placed on the Permanent Resident Card order form.
