What can I say but what I said on Hutch's update - you, Wendy, are one of the people who emigrate and we hardly even notice, because your posts are still in the same vein after you've arrived, still positive, still getting on with life.

Wendy, really hope I feel as positive about my move as you obviously are in 2years time. I too think this has been one of the best updates on the forum. Very positive and very encouraging. Long may your happiness continue!

My final words
We have been here two years today, and I adore the country, it’s people and most of all I adore the fact that I live here. I don’t want to be anywhere else.
It’s not always easy, I’m not magically rich, and we both still have to work. Today I had a ‘I live in Australia’ moment, my eyes welled up, and the hairs on my arms stood up – I thought of my Mum, who I will always miss and I thought of my son who is still in the UK, and if I could have anything it would be that he was here with me today - but it’s not to be at this point in time. He has said that he will most likely come over once he has finished Uni, but we’ll just have to wait and see if that ever happens.
I am however, extremely thankful for the things that I do have – My OH, my other two kids and the lovely friends and family that I have gained since moving here. I am thankful that I have had this opportunity and I wouldn’t live anywhere else – this is where I belong, it’s where my heart is and it’s HOME.
To all of you on BE, wherever you are in your journey – it has been a pleasure to know you all and I wish you all the happiness you deserve in your future.

If I could capture just a little bit of how you feel about Australia I would be very happy but you do give me hope that I will feel like you at some point (right now it's hard).
It's our two year anniversary on the 15th July.

we have been cyber friends for about 3 years, we have had ups and downs and I WANT HER BACK
, in the last year we both didnt post as much, both now in aus getting on with our lives the best way we can, but i would love if we could've still ran into each other now and again on here.
Anyway wends if your reading this, goodluck, and dont think for a mo, your getting through this life without us getting pissed together, see you some time ole matey

That was for me an amazing read... I have wanted to live in Australia for ever, so long now that when people ask me I cant even remember when the desire started... Things have been stopping the process (not on skills list, babies being bore, unforseen accidents ect ect... I'm 39 now and so determind to emigrate to Australia... my wife is 100% behind me so I have no resitance we just need to find a way oif getting accepted... your story give's me hope and I am so glad I finally found BE...

Thanks to everyone for the lovely comments you have made and for the Karma I have received. It's been a busy week for me so I haven't had much time to follow up on the thread since I wrote it.
