Two week update
#1
Hey All
Arrived 2nd July. Stayed in Brisbane for two nights. First morning woke up lovely blue skies and we headed out on the town in our shorts and tshirts. Big mistake it was bleeden freezing. So it was a case of spot the newbies and the fact we were holding a map didnt help either
Then we had the ordeal of trying to get a rental car. We managed to track down about the last car in brisbane as it was school holidays and every where was booked out of cars.
Drove up to our holiday rental in Caloundra and got a huge shock that place was like an ice box. We were wrapped up in blankets at night time and have never been so cold indoors in our life. Thanks to some great friends we met on here we managed to have a long term rental to go to so after four days in the ice box we moved to our new home. Its been fun and have managed to get enough things to get us by until our container arrives.
Kids have made loads of new mates and we have made some good mates aswell. I start work on Monday and looking forward to a new challenge.
All in all we love it here and it has been worth all the heartache and stress it took to get us here.
Thats it for now
