Wanted to see hubby's Uncle in Melbourne but he died in May before we made it to see him, so making sure we get to see his other rellies in Adelaide end of the month.
Emigrating is hard work, lots of ups and downs, we had those in NZ, but luckily life is hunky dory here and hopefully stays that way! All ups, no downs!

Right, the sunshine is ordered for you! It is beautiful today, got my sunnies ordered too!! Until recently I've been inside, going to work in the dark, coming home in the dark, so had no need for them. How things are changing!!!

So sorry to hear about your hubby's uncle. :( Hope you have a fantastic time catching up with the Adelaide rellies!

Thanks Lynn and Alan. :)

Sion, all the best with your move!
You'll all be fine though...it will be lovely weather too when you arrive.

Thanks Darendon :) well...if you want convincing on Adelaide, I can do my bit! It really is a lovely city and has so much to offer. OH hates cities with a passion, hates feeling closed in and he admits that he hasn't felt this way here- it's so spread out.

Ooooooh, hello Diane and Ian!!! It's great to hear from you, :) :) how are things going with you guys?

Will give you a pm, it would be lovely to catch up!!!

Nice update. Sorry a few things have been hard but it does get easier in time. When we lived abroad before, I think it took me about a year to start feeling settled!
Glad the OH's new job is better & I wish you both continued success:thumbsup:

Yeah, it all takes time 'eh!

Things are pretty tough for the first few months, so I think you are right in being a #%$^&* and sticking it out as it does get easier most of the time.

Glad things are getting a little easier, and if you need any thing you can always get in touch with me by PM. :)

Thanks Wendy, much appreciated! :) How are you doing?

Adelaide is great, we have just passed the 1 year mark and I think its wonderful:thumbsup: Same as yourself a few teething problems in the beginning, but soon settled. If you need anything give me a shout, I am in the south with a smile. Keep at it x
