V r coming in march and buying a campervan and do our road trip n apply for jobs..fingers crossed! We will also have 2 kids, 3 mths old and 2 yrs old..so really hope it goes well.

Really interesting thread...we are about to leave Montreal - in 2 weeks time- and are coming to live in Brisbane. My husband has a job, and we are looking at Wellington Point and Cleveland. We have an 11 year old daughter, and at the moment we are torn between terror and excitement!! It is good to read from someone who has happily settled, and i agree you have to give it at least 12 months to really settle!!!

Both those areas are lovely. Feel free to give me ring, message, whatever when you get here if you need any help.
