Well what can i say time flies when your havingfun !! me and the hubby have been here a year next week and i cant belive it to be honest !!we have our house a pool jobs and a dog !! we are living in kurunjang we love it ! 3 sets of our mates from england are putting in there papers and my mum and dad are about to start the process aswell !! whhooo ! i love melbourne and i love life and we have worked hard and just to think all this came from $10,000 people thought we was mad but as they say in yorkshire head down and arse up work the week like its your last and enjoy the aussie weekends ! hope every one else from england reads this and they go for it ! if you want it you will get it !! love to all and all the luck in the world to those waiting !!

I was out that way the other day, and i loved the area, , however, alas too far for work.

People thought we were mad too..............maybe it is a yorkshire thing. Glad you have settled anyhow and are enjoying life here, we love it too.

Definitely recommend the move to Australia, we came to Queensland so can't comment on Melbourne.

we love it and i would recomend anyone to do it ! it's hard to leave family and stuff but hey you live your life for you at the end of the day and if it's what you want then go for it it's a day away from england if you dont like it you go back ! but the opportunites that we have now are so much more than living in a 2 up 2 down in grey keighley ! oh and melbourne is a fantastic place so much to do and see ... mel
