Yes, Robina is a great place to live. There are lots of changes, shopping centre undergoing massive renovation, when completed will have a new David Jones, myers, Big W and lots of new restaurants.
Hope you manage to return soon and good luck on looking for jobs.

Hi

I have heard about all the changes - can't wait to see them all. Do you live in Robina or the surrounding area? Have you found the work situation difficult? My husband is a builder/project manager.

This is my only worry about returning, I love my job and my work colleagues, plus its very rewarding, not money wise but helping ppl. It would be extremely hard if not impossible to get this job in Perth, ive tried emailing them etc in Perth but they say they get advertised if theyre ever available, btw im a smoking cessation specialist (community based)

Hi again
Yes we live in Robina, just over a km from city centre.
There is a lot of building going on .. and on seek.com.au there seems to be a fair amount of project management positions advertised fro 10m time to time.
We are very happy being so central to everything.. and take advantage of being only 10 mins from the beach..
I was fortunate enough to get a job with the company I was working for in the UK over here (I am in Sales) my husband is now doing something completely different job wise.. and daughter is happy in her final year at school. Good luck and all the best with your plans..

Hi there benji wenji,

Like you said the great thing is that you have got citizenship, at least if you aren't able to make it back in the immediate future you will still be able to at some point in your life  I'm sure you would like to be back here asap by what you have said but its still very early days with your folks, you never know, they may well be wanting to come back too at some stage, do they know how you feel about it all? It must have been very hard to have gone through moving back and forth, especially so at your age (I know for sure i wouldnt have coped with it very well at that age) I really do hope you get where you want to be in the near future, very best of luck
