Re: The 'Jen1977au' thread
Gotta love the army life, the OH has served 18 years in the British Army and is into his 4th year of serving in the ADF. We've been together nearly 6 years and I've just completed week one, of my first ever deployment, only 7 months and 3 weeks to go... :(
(Now just to find someone to look after our nearly 3 year old boxer at Christmas, so I can go back to NI for a few weeks, anyone any ideas? Not going to go down the kennels route, just wouldn't be fair for that length of time, and also not keen on having a stranger in the house, house/dog sitting…) |

Re: The 'Jen1977au' thread
OOPS, been here 4 years (on the 6th February just past) - still love it. Been back to the UK twice now, and both times was homesick for here. The last time was Christmas 2013 and I was homesick pretty much from day dot, which was very odd as my other half is currently deployed in the big sandpit for 8 months, so apart from my dog back here, I was better off in the UK with family. Left teaching, after 13 long years, in December. WOO HOOOO! A new career beckons, which I start training for next month, watch this space!
Over and out, me x |
