Its 1 year !!!!!!!!!!!
Hi All,
I thought of sharing my story since i came to Australia. Its one year since i moved to Australia. It was the most challenging and dificult one year.
I came to Melbourne last July. I stayed with one of my uncle and started finding jobs. Actually i came early and my wife with the kid supposed to come in Nov. So i needed to find a job quickly. But it was a dificult task. I was searching for my field job first as every one do. But after about 2 months realised i need to find what ever a job as my wife and kid is coming. So i prepared another CV to suit process worker jobs. I applied lot and luckily after 3 months i got a job as a trainee process worker in a workshop. Salary was the minimum as per regulation. I was happy as i found some income before family comes after 3 months. So once the family came, it was another challenge to find a unit for us as property agents are resistant to give a unit to a person who doesn't hav a rental history. With the help of my uncle i managed to rent a unit and we stayed there for 3 months. Then one of my friend in Sydney asked me to send a resume and i got that job. So we moved to Sydney and it was again very difficult to find a unit for rent. So we are now in Sydney(Western) and little by little building our lives in Australia.
I must thank lot of people in BE, who helped me lot since i apllied for visa. I'm not mentioning names as i will miss some of the BEs who helped me. BE was my helping hand always, even now.
Thank you all the BEs again for the advices and assistance provided.
