hi all,
cant believe its 8 weeks already since we arrived in sydney. Its been a bit hectic but things falling into place now. Husbands company set us up in North Ryde, for one week then Frenchs Forest as it was a bigger place for us. Hated the house, smelled musty, damp, was shaded so was cold and the rain didnt help either, lost the plot needed to get out so stayed in lovely apt in Cremore till we found our new home.
The first rental house we viewed we got - couldnt believe it after hearing all the horror stories. So were in Cherrybrook. Kids started in local school two weeks after and youngest goes one day a week to montessorie. (Love my mondays all to myself).
Felt very overwhelmed with the roads here and paniced how would i ever get my bearings, but thank god for sat nav!.
Kids all settled in nicely here, made few friends, started swimming lessons, gymnastics etc.
Job going well for husband, may it continue.
Our container arrives this week - i hope ,so our house will be a home soon.
So normal family life has begun, we love it here have been to few places, darling harbour, opera house, blue mountains, few beaches, there is loads to do and see her and everyone nice and friendly.
Although am missing my friends and sisters now, so gonna go to Castle hill RSL this tues for a met up, hopefully its on! and have a good natter!

Curious as to where you rented, as I had a client who had a property up for rent in March and it was taken by a "lovely UK family", so I was told. Stranger things.... hope you're enjoying the gorgeous Hills area.

I don't know whether there will be many people at the RSL this week as the first Tuesday of the month we usually get together at various other locations in the locality. This Tuesday we are meeting at Flower Power at Glenhaven (on Old Northern Road) from 10.30. Hope you can make it.
