What a lovely post to read, I'm going to Perth In January, hopefully! I'm a little worried about my dog on the fight, she's a shih tzu & has a flat nose like your Pug. How did your dog find the flight?
Congratulations to your wife on her new Business, i've owned my own Hair salon for 9 year's and on Monday it is sold to the new owner's, I've been quite upset this week! (stupid i know, i did get a good price for it!) but i would like to do Nail's when i get to Perth but i'm struggling a bit and i'm going to start getting more training in a Nail salon ready for when i come out. So it's lovely to read post like your's.
Good Luck to you both :)

Customs were busy in the casino that night I think! In fact customs were on their way out as we were going home that night! Don't you worry people the dancin 'til dawn will resume shortly after the baby vacates!
Acbh - make sure you keep a tab so we know how many nights out we're due!
Also I got my nails done in a wee place in Ashmore today and they're fab!

Congratulations on the success of your business.
Just a thought, the success of your enterprise seems to be because of skill of your wife - taking someone else on who might not be as good may not work as your customers have become used to a high standard.
Also be aware of the paperwork involved in employing - we have 3 employees and it takes a lot of time keeping up with BAS reports, paying Super etc.
As I said just a thought

Hi Moonlight, sorry for the late reply.Your dog will be fine, its more the owner who worries when they fly over without you.Pugs get problems with flying and i believe they are about to ban them flying at all on long distances.
I think your dog will be fine, but check with the airlines and not a pet transport company, some people were telling me they would flyour dog over with B.A ect even though i told them that a Pug was on the banned flight list with these companies.
I dont recall seeing shih tzu's on the list, you'll be sad letting your dog go,but its worth it when you see them again on this side..

Good luck with the move to Perth.
