Short and sweet. Been here 5 years Sunday. Busy year. Became citizens in January. 5 week trip to Blighty in June. In short, happy as pigs in poo. Hated being in the UK, glad to get home to slow, laid back Perth. Australia isn't for everyone but it is my home and the entire Northernbird family are proud to be Australian Citizens.
Agree with you about the UK. We were there a few weeks ago, and found that although it is still a good country, it offers a mediocre lifestyle. Oh, and their economy is f**ked which kind of makes it even more mediocre.
