..........and still loving it.
Arrived 7th December 2007, 40kg of luggage each, a tea box full of Cd's and photos and that was it. Now I have so much junk in my cupboards I need a massive clear out!
Hubby and I have great jobs, took a couple of moves each to get there.
Daughter (16) has left school to do a business traineeship, which she loves. She drives her own car and has a great bunch of friends.
We bought our house 4 months after arriving, thank goodness we did, the prices have risen so much.
We have visited some beautiful places, my personal fav being the Great Barrier Reef, awesome. But at the weekend one of our hobbies is visiting wineries, some of the best being on our doorstep.
We have made some great friends, tough at first, but we now have the sort of friends you can rely on, it really helps.
We miss the folks back home, but go back? no way. They visit us and it is nice to show them our home.
Next on the to do list is out citizenship.
All the best to those of you about to take the plunge

We're in Woodcroft. Not where we imagined we'd be but we like it here and will probably buy a house somewhere in the South when we sell back in the UK.
