OnepearlyB,
Sorry to hear how low you feel. Full marks to you for achieving so much inyour life while coping with breast cancer: that's no mean feat so give yourself a pat on the back.
Meanwhile, are you aware of BreaCan Victoria? They are a great bunch of people who provide support to all whose lives have been touched in any way with breast & gynae cancer. Have a look at their web site and see if there's any synergy there:

Good luck with your moving plans.

Pearly so sorry to hear that it isnt working out too well for you - but kudos to you for getting out and doing stuff to relieve the boredom and further your skills. Must admit I am surprised, I thought we were crying out for nurses!
The Breacan site is one that caught my eye too - perhaps you might get some satisfaction by volunteering with them if you feel strong enough to do that. It would get you into the system anyway.
I hope that now you have made your decision to head back home that things go smoothly and you can get about the countryside a bit to see what the place has to offer.

They are , but they want them on their terms, they are NOT KEEN on permenant part-timers at all, the ones who have half decent hrs have worked there forever so they want the newbies (and probably more the immigrants) to take all the crap hrs. Here it really affects our home life as they're is not the flexibility they're is in the u.k. For example, i asked if i could get a day off to take my daughter for a hosp appoint, wrong move, i was told no, !! had to change the appoint, and may have to phone in sick if am rostered to work on her new appoint time. I know for a fact in scotland i would have got this day off. And i wouldnt even try to get any school hols off, am waaaaaaaayyyy down the pecking order for that!!
