We like the sound of the North island but are flexible where we go.
Any help will be good. I can get msn if anyone needs to chat bout it.

R plan to move is March 2009

We want to Know the process, the chance of getting permannet residents, and wats life like.

OK let me start to assist you.

On employment, if you want to make contact to the NZ govt Ecconomic developement corp they will send you a list of co's that require drivers.

http://www.immigration.govt.nz/Admin...le+Driver.html

While you are in comm with them, and you see a position that sounds OK, ask them for assistance to reside in NZ perm.

Remember thats the NZ Govt arm....

Last month I assisted one other UK driver relocate, he is on his way next month, he is going to email me a list of Co's that do want UK drivers, when that gets to my in box I will post it.

Bank account, easy one.

http://www.westpac.co.nz/olcontent/o...to+New+Zealand

They will do it all for you and you can make direct contact to them anytime.

Even I have a Kiwi account (Where else can I launder my POUNDS)

Anyway hope some of this helps.

NZ'ers are slow, in lifestyle / thinking / pace and even sport....

Its a nice place, you will feel like you just moved to Corrnwell, as thats what a lot of NZ looks like.
