Hi, I am looking to emigrate to Canada. I am a tipper driver in the UK, but I can't seem to find any companies that do the same sort of work. Would appreciate any advice on the matter.
Cheers
Geordie Matt.

You may get on better if this was posted in the Trucking Forum. Maybe a mod could move it for you....again !

They call them dump trucks over this side of the pond. You will need to contact a company that haul Asphalt,Gravel,Dirt,Rock etc, maybe a construction company. There are a few different types of dump trucks such as 10 wheelers,16 wheelers.18 wheeler end dumps,Transfers, and belly dumps.Hope this helps.

There are tippers here (tandem dump trucks) if its a 6 or 8 wheeler its a straight truck. But most are tractor trailers (articulated) around here anyway.
most places want a class 1 and its seasanal work you will get laid off when they close the roads as the frost comes out of it

What about the agricultural side of things. Wheat, barley, maize, animal feeds etc?

I have to post 3 times to read PM? Weird.
I'm doing all of this on my phone as I'm tramping and don't have a laptop. í ½í¸³
