Dave, you're being a plank again. How can you say tanker work doesn't compare in Canada ? Specialized transport is where you make the money, you've seen my rate on the fuel,on the gases it was roughly the same.Show me any van company that pays anything near and I'll eat my cap.Home every night as well:D

Wish I could find a job paying $37.50 an hour , average around these parts is $23-25 an hour for hauling gas . One place pays $27 but no overtime rate and crap trucks :frown: think I might move to northern Ireland seems that's were the money is :rofl:

Typical wee sweaty reply.
I was referring to your post regarding tanker work in Canada not comparing to Britain.I would say it's a lot better, not many places paying that wage PLUS bonus for day work,or are there Dave? And you reckon I'm the tit

Very clever Dave, shame you can't spell.I am neither materialistic nor shallow but if I can earn a good living on tankers then where's the problem? You come across a someone who has a very big chip on his shoulder, this is usually the result of feeling inadequate in some form or another, being Scottish isn't an excuse,so what is the cause?
I came to Canada looking to better the lifestyle for my family, and to give my kids greater opportunities in life,so far this move is working really well.We have a good work/life balance,a standard of living we could've only dreamed about 5 years ago.If I can earn a decent wage on tankers 25 minutes from home,no nights away etc etc ,then why not?
Tell me where I'm going wrong,because I just can't see it.:D

What can't you grasp from this Dave? It was a reply to your post saying that tanker work in Canada isn't very good, obviously you were wrong. There are loads of guys around here on $80k plus hauling fuel. Not a boast just fact.

And where have I disputed that:confused: There is no need for you to continually boast about it.
I spent 14 years in UK on tankers and less than 6 month in Canada, it was crap and not for me so what don't you understand about that:confused:
All this from the OP's original question about adr:unsure:
