meal allowance
have been told i can claim $51 per day receipt free for every day i will be otr as meal allowance, at end of tax year.
but was also told (somebody else) its only $25
could anyone tell me what it actualy will be?

You can claim $51 per full day (3 x 8hr sections @ $17) but you only get a % of it, i think you actually get $24.50 refunded to you.

almost $24.50 is if you dont bring reciepts for all meals . if you bring ALL reciepts and can prove you were away for more than 12hrs i think then its more......i think
