Long haul truck driver

Winnipeg, MB, Manitoba
beginning Friday, 1st October
Terms: This is a permanent, full time job
Salary: will be $4,000.00 per month for a 40 hour week.
Experience: at least a full year’s experience.
Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A).
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer
Type of Travel: Long-haul, National, International
Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation, Trip reports
Communication Equipment Experience: Trip recorder (on-board computer), Citizens band (CB) radio, Cellular phone, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Plan travel schedules and routes, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract), Medical exam, Drug test
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel for extended periods, Willing to travel overnight

Gremmie,hesitate to reply on this post without sounding borderline racist,but isn't this outfit run by relatives of our friends from Surrey BC,if you get my drift ?? Driving a plain Frightliner/Volvo pulling vans etc etc.
