Andy,

I have a book called:

"Practical Airbrakes - Driver Handbook & study guide"

Author - Rolf VanderZwaag is cooperation with the Ontario Trucking Association

ISBN 0-9680607-4-9

I have tried to find it on Amazon etc with no joy so maybe you'd want to contact the above Assoc or try and download a .pdf from some of the other Provincial Trucking sites to help you along.

Cheers Dave

Thanks Dave will give that a go, thanks again for your help

Tingle Tangles.. Is that a place or a person...:D

The strip I remember was like the wild west back in the 80's early 90's. Malcolms Bar, Senne eck, Geordies Bar, Whore House and the night club always changing names down from the Sparky Bank...Pleasure Dome ???? I think it was the last I remember.

What I remember was things like Juke boxes going thru windows usualy followed by some poor chappie mostly Life Guards or Blues n royals but still looking very smart in shirt n tie as they have to dress posh. 3 Sqn monster club (about 12 tank transporter guys all over 6ft 5in & not to be crossed) used to rule the strip back in those days was utter chaos on a week end not somewhere to take the family for a few quiet ones especially when a big FTX was on but they were great to play rugby with.....but new guys didn't venture into the Sqn bar for months or until they were allowed it was more than their life was worth....Bullying???? what a mith was character building ...honestly....them were the days...pull up a sandbag:zzz::zzz:

Changing drivers on the move by nipping out the drivers door and over the bonnet ....hanging off the top step for a pee at 60klm...H&S would have a heart attack today....

Tingle Tangles is the lap dancing bar its in front of the sex shop, life is very quiet on the strip these days. For a good punch up the highlander or Mangos is the best places to go. Its a shame what H&S have done to some of the stuff we use to get up too!!!

Nice one Tingle Tangles for your Dingle Dangles.

Think it might have been Mon Cheris (spelling ???) when I was there....well not actually in it..honestly Guv...

Must have been around 98ish last time I was in senne. We brought some Super Sangers over for NITAT (Tin City) from Antrim N.Ireland on some low loaders for the Engineers not had the chance to be back since although I saw on one of the RLC websites some of the guys went back for a visit to 3 Sqn's camp and apart from RHQ building it all just looks like it was all those years ago when I left it just looked like yesterday.

My Hubby took his Class 1 with CCA in Calgary. The course was 4 weeks long and cost approx $4000. He had never driven a truck before this course and loved every minute of it.
The course included WHIMIS, TDG, Air Brakes and Drivers Hours.
