On your Easter hols?

So what's everyone planning on doing for Easter?
Anything special? Holidays or trips?
We're heading up to Maine to see the folks...and to get the noisy exhaust on the car fixed, because it failed inspection because of it and another occasional fault that comes and goes but happened to come on right at the test.
Yup, bit extreme for a car fix, but labour rate is about a third of what it is down here, so even with the missus taking a day off from work on Friday and cost of petrol to bim up to Maine, it'll still be cheaper :/
So a fun weekend Easter is planned for us

No time off here, the school doesn't even have a 3 day weekend and Dh is working fri through mon.
So the kids and I will eat all our chocolate on our own.
Today is the Easter egg hunt and fun at our local clubhouse.

My daughters 7th birthday is on Easter Sunday so we will spend most of the time eating cake and other ridiculously sickening treats. The following week is Spring Break and as my OH is working all week I will probably take the kids to the beach most days. Oh the struggle of living close to a beach.

Shove imported chocolate down a willing child's mouth. (while trying to get some for myself on the sly)

So a bit of a tradeoff for me, in order to have Wednesday off this week, I'm working Saturday. Still will be able to spend Sunday with DH,

OH and youngest daughter off to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky to climb, me and oldest daughter here so she can take segment 2 of Driver's Ed (no other time to fit it in before she's 16 and can take the test).

I'm flying to London tonight, pick up my daughter and her baby and off to visit my family in Coventry.
On Thursday I'm flying to Switzerland to be reunited with my husband
and although we haven't made any firm plans and he has yet to tell me how long he will be off work, we will probably get in the car and drive south through the Gotthard Tunnel and explore NW Italy (Liguria and perhaps walk on the Cinque Terre paths, although the area was badly flooded last October). Or maybe drive across to the Nice or Cannes vicinity.
Everywhere is likely to be closed for a few days though....

BF's kids arrive back on Easter Sunday, so I have prepared a egg hunt, bunny head gear and hopefully a barbeque if the weather changes!

I think that weekend will be my last chance to rage before my course workload really really really picks up.

It's crept up on me this year. Kids and OH have a 3 day weekend so will probably go out somewhere but not sure where and cook roast lamb on Easter Sunday

Hopefully we'll just spend the weekend at home and relax. We already have a trip to Nashville Zoo planned for the week after so I'd rather save my money for that.

Let's see... As an American, my family and I are planning to treat my husband to a proper AMERICAN Easter lol. He's a poor deprived British person who's never had an easter basket, easter ham, or an easter egg hunt... And I just LOVE tormenting him with our cheesy American holiday related activities!

I lived there for 5 years on and off not much going on but you are younger then me!
