It 'could' be different if he owned his own car. Example my commute to work by personal car is 30 minutes, By public transportation well over an hour. Not even possible on weekends.

My kids are early 30s, and they grew up with designer espresso-based coffees, local non-traditional wines, and watched the birth & boom of the craft beer revolution.... I DO find they know more than the husband & I do about those three.

Of course, the husband & I have cut back on all those items for the sake of our health, whereas our kids are still overdoing them all on occasion....

Youth is wasted on the young. Has that been said before?

I thought you were made of sterner stuff. If that can cause you to drink coor's light, well coor's is what you get.

It doesn't 'cause' me to, it just doesn't make me want to give any of those twats any of my money. Insert any brand really. I have some Guinness in the fridge right now, it just happens that Diet Coors is what I grab when it's hot and I just want something cold. IDGAF about where it comes from or anything else.

Nowt wrong with box wine. At least as far as I know, I don't really like wine myself, so I can't speak with authority.

The problem is that most of the wine sold in boxes is not very good IMO. Not necessarily bc it is in a box, but the quality.

On the other hand, I bought a bottle of organic wine the other day just for kicks, and it was awful! Just shows that it's the taste that matters, not whether it's labeled organic or in a bottle with a fancy label. (But most box wine still sucks!)

I buy White Zinfadel in cases from Trader Joe's occasionally. It's as good as any other Zinfadel of comparable price IMO
