This is the edge of Hercules. I am looking at it from the Canadian side of Lake Ontario....it is over Niagara, Rochester etc.

Thank you so much for ending my day with a laugh. Someone left to dig out your car from long term parking. hehehehehe :hysterical:

A couple of winters ago we flew into Newark after a heavy snowfall. Guys in a pick up truck were driving around the car park digging people out...for a price. :D

Pleased to report we arrived into JFK ontime last night however it took 2 hours for our luggage to make it from the aircraft to us, in which time the storm had worsened and snow was piling up.

The snowplows were clearing the lot when we got to the car. Due to some miraculous luck our car was parked at the end of an aisle the opposite way to which the wind was blowing. Our car had a tiny sprinkling of powder snow on it but the cars parked at the other end of the aisle had about a foot of snow piled up all around them and over them

The drive back to Westchester was horrific though with loads of idiots driving too fast for the conditions and we passed at least 6 or 7 cars that had spun out. Also got stuck on the Whitestone Bridge for about 40 minutes while the plows cleared to toll areas.
