We have recently started making some [EFT] US --> UK money transfers via xe.com. They are taking a bit over a week. Is this the usual timeframe? Didn't think it would take quite that long....

Its quicker if you pay for a wire. Otherwise yes, around a week is normal.

OK, cheers N1cky. We knew that wires were faster - but they also cost.
