WTF in America

Re: WTF in America
Best I can tell the whole thing was initially made up and nobody was actually eating Tide Pods, and then for some reason people actually started doing it and now it became a 'challenge' for others to do so. Just stupid BS, as usual.
I'm not sure if they're actually ingesting the detergent, of if they are just biting down on the pod, but both are equally stupid because I'm pretty sure you'll get some nasty burns on your mouth if you get any in there.
As to the thrill/attraction, who can even begin to imagine?

Either that or serious chemical burns and an unpleasant recovery period. I mean, what could go wrong, right?

The Gain Flings smell nicer than the Tide Pods and are easier to digest.

It has been a problem with toddlers eating dishwasher 'pods' ever since they were invented. I recall the Beeb doing a 'Watchdog' style program on the problem way back when my two girls were young. Presumably with the recent news that young people don't reach adulthood until 24 nowadays we can assume that todays 15 year olds have the mental development of an '80's toddler?
It's basically a ramped-up internet version of 'Oi, bet you won't put this in your mouth' from the playground though. Plus ça change and all that.
He did say the whole can, so presumably that includes the actual can. That's a challenge and a half, that one.
