Re: WTF in America
I don't see any "brandishing". It looks more like "carrying" to me.
I wonder how London would react to having armed civilians dressed up like soldiers - because it makes their genitalia feel bigger to them to dress that way - escorting a fascist march down the street.
No respect for any of it.

Re: WTF in America
The irony is that those carrying weapons were peaceable, and death and mayhem was wrought by a lunatic in a car.

Re: WTF in America
Except these men were likely within their rights to carry the firearms. In London they wouldn't be.

Re: WTF in America
As for nobody considering themselves less free... That's a naive statement to make.

History, people.
They are all despicable.

Re: WTF in America
Ignorant *****. Wtf? How is this "freedom"? Those are not police brandishing those weapons.

Re: WTF in America
To be clear, I am not a member or supporter of the idiots marching in Charlottesville today, and my "arsenal" is confined to one 20-guage shotgun which I bought ten years ago for dealing with snakes. (So far I have fired three practice shots and not yet shot a snake. ) However I am tolerant of those who act peaceably and within the law, even laws that don't meet the criteria of "common sense", and no matter that they do, indeed, look like a "bunch of wankers"(™, Nutek).

Re: WTF in America
It has become increasingly clear to me during the years that I have lived in the US that "freedom" to left-leaning liberals, means only "freedom to think and behave like they do", not in any sense freedom to think differently.

Re: WTF in America
Here's some more WTFery over flags - when people carrying (certain) flags made fellow marchers feel "unsafe", and the flags were "triggering" people.
Flags are a bigger deal than I think I will ever understand.

Re: WTF in America
I've come across the same cro magnons in Idaho, dressed up as soldier boys and running around in the backwoods, preparing for "that day when the war comes between black and white"
America at it's most idiotic.
