But you can watch a bunch of guys play cards ...? !!! How they can televise poker is beyond me ... or snooker, or darts ... or golf for that matter!

I grew up as a huge soccer fan in UK, but once you lose track of which players are which, soccer becomes incredibly boring in my book. I see a bunch of guys running around, endlessly, constantly gaining and losing possession almost arbitrarily (yes, sometimes you get good 'tackles' but a lot of the time, you just get bad passes). After 90 minutes you still have a 0-0 score ... if that isn't the definition of boring, I don't know what is! I have to say, though - it does look like great exercise! I've learned to enjoy baseball - tremendous strategy involved.
