In case you haven't seen the email wise are increasing fees from April 26th. Increase is from .35% to .41%, so not a huge amount.

I transferred around 2,000 pounds to USD and the charge came to around 0.43% vs around 0.37% a couple of months ago. The exchange rate (nothing to do with Transferwise of course) was quite a bit lower- around $1.26 as against $1.35 last time.

a flat fee implies they are after bigger transfers and they are likely selling the order flow…. So they would then get paid on that.
