Although we did just have a huge storm pass through LA (read a couple of light sprinklings of rain). The US news channels make me laugh.

I do laugh at that...the "storms"..bit of wind and a light shower.
Also the 50% chance of rain meaning 50% chance of nothing...

I've lived in the north east, snow in November, still on the ground in march and can't go anywhere in the summer due to tourist traffic.

Nice for the seasons for a few years but since moving to Arizona my bones are nice and warm and you can see through the bugs here.

85 degrees forecast for next weekend A hammock between two palm trees, life is good

We had things blooming and then a new cold spell, and the plant think summer his been and we got another winter. Loads of petals for me to sweep up.

The winter this week has been terrible. I look forward to next week when it's back up to a normal 85 degrees.

Drought? Who said anything about a drought?

We have had a nice, fairly mild, and dry winter so far. They say snow Monday, but if it does, only the 2nd time this winter, and last time it snowed it was melted and gone within a day.

Yep, and its supposed to be 73F tomorrow. Nuts. I even succumbed to 'Cedar fever' a couple of weeks ago and I've never had allergies before.
