Default Will the Supreme Court have to handle Same Sex marriage once and for all?

6th circuit court of appeals has upheld same sex marriage bans in Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee and Kentucky.

Now with the opposing rulings from the other circuit courts, will the Supreme Court finally have to handle the same sex marriage issue once for all, or will they let the circuit courts decision stay, with a mix of legal and not legal same sex marriage states?

Default Re: Will the Supreme Court have to handle Same Sex marriage once and for all?

I thought some of the comments from the dissenting judge were quite priceless.

The author of the majority opinion has drafted what would make an engrossing TED Talk or, possibly, an introductory lecture in Political Philosophy. But as an appellate court decision, it wholly fails to grapple with the relevant constitutional question in this appeal.
One hopes the SCOTUS does now step in, that way I can clean up the wiki page I've been maintaining on the issue. It's been a mess recently with all the other decisions coming in.
