Re: Where are you from?
Born in Germany, Dad was in the army, lived in Malaya as a young child, then Nottingham, England, Banbury Oxfordshire, Buckden Huntingdon, St. Neots Cambridgeshire, Werrington Peterborough and then moved to Indianapolis Area in September 1999. Have not lost my English accent and as my job involves service in customers homes I am often asked where I am from? Australia, New Zealand, Scotland and sometimes England are the usual thoughts.

Re: Where are you from?
Albany is ok I guess lol- quite handy for Panama City Beach which is really nice, Tallahassee is not bad for shopping. Some very nice small towns in and around this area.
Coventry unfortunately has declined dramatically, all the industry has now left which is a shame. Went back in April this year for a visit and within 5 minutes of being in the city centre I was approached by 3 different beggars! Not nice at all!!
Cindyabs are you near Savannah? Have not been to the east coast of Georgia since I arrived but am hoping to venture that way at some point - am hoping to eat at Paula Deen's restaurant!
It's so very nice to meet you all - I usually just read the boards and don't post very often.

Hiya,
Yes I live in Richmond Hill which is a bedroom community for Savannah and a former feudal kingdom of Henry Ford (but that's another story).
Come on over to check out the Coastal Empire!! I've not eaten at Paula Dean's myself and worse yet I've never eaten at Mrs Wilkes Boarding House, an older Savannah tradition, .

Re: Where are you from?
I'll probably be visiting there in the fall. Lived there for almost the whole of the 90s and have a ton of mates who still haven't made it out.

Oxford.
Went to Brunel Uni, Runneymede campus in Egham, Surrey...lovely little spot, shame they sold it off as the main campus is a concrete jungle...a pretty cool one now mind, but still.
Edit: oh, lived in New Portland, Casco and Belfast Maine
Currently living in the burbs of Masshole
