For Texas, I got "hot/important/big/cheap". Huh. Houston has "boring/ghetto/big/cheap". Damn.

For NC, I got cheap, boring, and backwards.
For Yorkshire, I got great, big, and good.
For Sheffield, I got hilly, windy, ...... and crap!

Virginia - strict, boring, humid, and racist.

No, I saw nothing about "modest".
It was certainly hot and humid when I was there, but "stupid" goes without question.

.... I have hot, stupid and humid. Sums it up really.

Illinois = corrupt is quite a good one
. It's a bit boring as well, on a larger scale. Not much going on compared to a lot of the rest of the states.

Google Canada gives me for California my home state:
Why is California so expensive/ broke/populated/a republic/called the golden state.
For British Columbia where I am now I get, expensive/why is it a good place to live/why is BC named BC and why is BC called BC.

Paying taxes here feels a bit like a shakedown. Property, income and excise taxes are all absurdly high here. Adding insult to injury, you constantly get nickle-and-dimed for everything from on-street parking to Metra to the highest gas taxes in the country to garbage collection to special airport fees to hotel taxes to ~10% sales taxes in many towns. And yet, despite all of that revenue, this state is the biggest fiscal basket case in the country. It's infuriating.

Which is nice.
