Unless you meant Americans could just drive in any direction and cross country borders, to which I would respond: you're an idiot.

So you do know those other countries don't belong to you, right?

I mean, you leave the US after you fly over the coast and enter international waters, or your northern or southern border.

Doing it your way it would take 10 hours to leave the UK - let's see, London to Mumbai, etc etc

Yes. If you can tell me where to get the best Mole in Mexico. Please stop asking me idiotic questions. Unless you're actually only 9 -in that case I forgive you.

I don't think so.

I mean, I dropped my wife at the airport at 7am to fly to South America. That does mean that she is definitely a World Traveller (isn't that the name BA use for economy class?), but I think I'd have noticed if she lived in the Pacific Northwest.

Oh yeah, you would have noticed. Kim has been there and it smells of fish.

Ooh, I don't know that I can rise to that challenge. I'm clearly outclassed here.
Oh, sorry, there I go again. You don't have classes here, do you.

I'm tired of this now. Your responses are starting to lack intelligence and challenge. Take it on board or don't-Americans as a nation are your neighbors. We are political ally's -you've needed us and we've needed you. If you don't evolve to the new "world citizen" role we are all entering by immigrating back and forth and adapting to the culture you have willfully entered, you will be rejected, turned on, mocked-by a nation that is larger than you, that has more political and economic pull than you. You will become the hated ones. So keep mocking Thanksgiving and football and coffee and then....have a really good plan B for when the option to live freely without contempt here is no longer open to you. I hear the housing prices in London are to die for!

I think that all happened back in the 18th century when you threw the tea out of the pram.

We are being recruited now to run your oil industry and stuff.

And teach you how to play soccer.

And possibly sort your bacon out.
