What's your poison?

Agreed. Blue Moon is tolerable in the summer when there is no alternative other than yellow fizz, but I could never drink a Shock Top. Thankfully there are more places stocking some proper craft beers now, at least until the marketing clout of the Big Three takes them over or squeezes them out.

Re: What's your poison?
Living in San Diego there's no shortage of local craft beer. If I want to ramp up the challenge I can try to stick to breweries I can walk to. Not sure if a tasting room should count if the main brewery is a few more miles out...

I can't stand that stuff!
I tend to stick with the stuff brewed by my local now. There are few places that sell their bottled stuff nearby too which is handy. A mate of mine had recently taken up a position as a manager at a local BevMo so I tend to broaden my horizons a little further next week at go to their beer tasting event.

I didn't mind some of the summer wheat beers and for the fiver Wegmans was selling the six packs on sale, not bad.
Certainly not worth regular price, or outside of summer....though am getting a bit low on bottles again but hoping with the holidays, might be able to snag some empties off of friends, which would be a lot better.

Anybody got a suggestion for where I can find a 'pint of heavy' type beer here?
Typically like Tennents 70 shillings or bitter?
There's sometimes something about American beer that makes me think they just don't get it...sometimes their trying too hard...
Damn...beer and wimmin...universe's best inventions...

Just wondered because I remember my grandad having beer in his pantry that was probably ancient, he only opened a bottle on rare occasions but he seemed to enjoy it

Expiration dates? Never pay attention to 'em.
Still got a can of Irn Bru in the fridge that I brought with me when I moved.
Emergency hangover cure.

Keep your Irn Bru as a novelty, I would certainly not recommend drinking it.
