K1 for me too. Living in the tourist paradise I too, there's a wealth of jobs to choose from....... hotel front desk agent, bell boy, valet parker, cleaner, fast food worker....... I chose to bypass those worthwhile careers and become a ramp rat.

I am probably the Junior Sub Assistant Deputy Vice Something of Something.
I've worked in a number of countries and so far none of them have been so title-focused as they are here.

I used to be a Knowledge Manager, or as my husband called me 'Knowledge B***h'.
But now I'm CEO Of All She Surveys.

My colleagues know me as 'IT Contracts Manager', but I prefer to go by 'Thought Leader and Digital Prophet'.

Re: What is your job title?
Same with bartender and servers, good tips in any decent hotel.
Titles I have had:
Night Auditor
Ramp Agent then changed to fleet service agent for whatever reason
Ground Operations/load planning
Customer Service/Baggage Service (lost luggage, horrible position...lol)
I came to the US the easy way by birth.

Lab Manager, Technical Manager and QA/QC officer.
I only manage 3 others, well 2 until I replace the terminated one
Still wondering if management is worth the hassle.

Was a Technical Editor until it became so boring I was considering chucking myself out the office window. Moved to Philly, then moved to NYC, then I tried to transition into being a book editor, which segued into recording my voiceover for an audiobook, then worked in a Manhattan cupcake shop pouring coffee while studying NLP and editing bad fiction for free. Then got pregnant, now I taxi my husband to work, my kid to pre-k and make peanut butter jelly sandwiches for both while doing the odd voice over job.
