did I say I dislike it
and you are obviously not going to answer my previous post as there is no explanation for your post of no 40.
FYI I am not trying to be clever just nice. (though you make that difficult) .
I thought we were in the middle of a reasonable debate then you just threw insults at me from nowhere. But then that says a lot more about you than me!

I came in here to see what people are reading and seem to have stumbled upon the "Lionhearts guide to making friends and influencing people" thread.

It's v. funny.

A friend gave me this book - I found that I was skimming over large sections...don't know why, but i didnt enjoy it at all.

I'm a student, so borrow books these days, and mainly do my reading over the holidays. My most recent read was called something like "the history of California", all about the California that was ie before the yanks.

Probably because those knickers you bought from a market stall down the Old Kent Road were actually polyester............... ABA strawweight.

Almost finished Heart & Hands - A midwife's guide to pregnancy and Childbirth, by Elizabeth Davis, and have just started Birth as an American Rite of Passage by Robbie E. Davis-Floyd. Hope the rest of the book isn't as dry as the intro or I'm not sure I'll finish it.

Have you read "Spiritual Midwifery" by Ina May Gaskin, one of the Tennessee lay midwives?
