FYI I am not trying to be clever just nice. (though you make that difficult) .
I thought we were in the middle of a reasonable debate then you just threw insults at me from nowhere. But then that says a lot more about you than me!

I came in here to see what people are reading and seem to have stumbled upon the "Lionhearts guide to making friends and influencing people" thread.

I'm currently reading the paperback of "A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian" which I bought in Waterstone's as a 3 books for the price of 2 offer. (It was no. 1 in the top 20 of paperbacks in W H Smiths and Waterstone's when I was recently back home.)

I'm a student, so borrow books these days, and mainly do my reading over the holidays. My most recent read was called something like "the history of California", all about the California that was ie before the yanks.

Almost finished Heart & Hands - A midwife's guide to pregnancy and Childbirth, by Elizabeth Davis, and have just started Birth as an American Rite of Passage by Robbie E. Davis-Floyd. Hope the rest of the book isn't as dry as the intro or I'm not sure I'll finish it.
