That's funny, I didn't either, so that makes three of us! 
..... It's a bit difficult when we were staying with my mother, and I am fairly certain she has never eaten a doner, and doesn't live in the "doner part of town". Actually Mrs P was more keen than I was to have one (and she doesn't even drink much! 
), so we did do a recce through the kebab quarter, and found a likely looking vendor for next time.

My mum was telling me that the dodgy kebab van man that I used to stumble by and feast from back in the day, it's still around but it's now the guys son who has taken over the van.
