What I do... and a lion!

I've banged on endlessly about what my better half does, but I don't talk much about what I do...

This wild mountain lion was filmed in total darkness by an old school friend of mine from the UK, up by Lake Tahoe. He was using one of my latest Infrared Thermal cameras to capture footage of the lion at a bait station as they tried to replace his broken GPS collar...

That footage of the lion is amazing!
Interesting how cautious he is approaching the bait . . . .

Actually nobody was close to the lion. Jake had set up a movement-activated camera trap with my camera. The lion wouldn't have approached if anyone had been around!

My hubby's engineers do thermographic scans in the marine industry to look for hotspots in equipment (this is the sum of my knowledge on the subject). If the equipment is ever at home we use it to look at the cats, and our electrical stuff, and my boobs
Don't think they have ever come across a lion...will have to ask...
