I thought about this question long and hard and could come up with no good answer. America hardly allows me to do anything with all the new laws that are passed daily, and we call it the land of the free. It scares me to think just how much freedom we will have left 20 years from now.

What do you want to do that you are not allowed to do?

You do have more opportunity to do that here than most other places.

They allowed me to own a handgun, and carry it in public.

I thought that was kinda nice of them.

Wow - after thinking 'long and hard', you could not think of anything ... methinks you are on the fringe there, worrying about black helicopters and the like. I'm sure we'll see you cropping up in various threads bemoaning the terrible infringements on our liberties ... "Captain Freedom" no less !!

Actually I'm just wondering because obviously we hear a lot of stuff about America being the free'est (how do you spell that? I'm being dense i think) country in the world.
So what are we allowed to do here that we can't do in the UK?
Guns obviously.. what else?

You can pick your nose pretty much anywhere in the US without a camera watching you do it . You havent been able to do this for some years in the UK.
