I thought about this question long and hard and could come up with no good answer. America hardly allows me to do anything with all the new laws that are passed daily, and we call it the land of the free. It scares me to think just how much freedom we will have left 20 years from now.

Wow - after thinking 'long and hard', you could not think of anything ... methinks you are on the fringe there, worrying about black helicopters and the like. Actually I'm just wondering because obviously we hear a lot of stuff about America being the free'est (how do you spell that? I'm being dense i think) country in the world.
So what are we allowed to do here that we can't do in the UK?

I didn't have any official lessons either. I was plonked in the driver's seat with a qualified driver in the passenger seat and told to drive whenever anyone needed anything. Passed first time, too.

You can pick your nose pretty much anywhere in the US without a camera watching you do it . You havent been able to do this for some years in the UK.
