So having made the decision to leap for 3 months to start with and in the midst of going down checklists sorting out what needs to happen in less than 30 days. I am now turning to how to get back. Any suggestions welcome.
So far I am thinking:
Straightforward get there asap flight but as they all are still in the $1000+ range for me I am contemplating having some fun.
Alternatively, I could do the sailing thing but the best rates are double occupancy. Any other returning expat want to travel?
Or maybe train West - East in Canada and then fly back.
Or fly West see a couple of place on the way and arrive back in England.

I have been following your dilema of your career aspirations and move and I am pleased to see you are planning some exciting things for yourslef.
I say, make the most of the time you have and see as much as you can. I would fly West....but that's the traveller in me.
Good luck. I hope you find the answers you are looking for.
