Default Vonage World any good?

I've seen adds for Vonage World at $14.99 per month with unlimited free calls to the UK and was wondering if this is a good deal and what the VOIP sound quality is like as we've not tried it before. I know it goes up to $25.99 per month after 6 months, but at the moment we are using a Cricket mobile with flexbucket add ons call the UK and it's costing us quite a bit.

We have had vonage since it first started, no problems with it at all, unless the internet has gone down. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the service to anyone, especially if you make a lot of calls to the UK

Us too. We have a Philips VOIP phone, works perfectly. We can call all our skype contacts, and we also have a US local number (although we rarely use it).

The really nice part about having Skype is that you can get a number local to your family for them to call you. Well, for those who don't have broadband as Skype-to-Skype call quality is so much better than regular phone quality.

You can also get Skype for various smartphones, which I find quite useful, too.
