No gifts. We are going to a Valentine's Day "Candlelight and Dancing" dinner with 2 other couples at a lovely restaurant overlooking the Hudson River, in Dobbs Ferry, NY.

No we don't either, and I'm sick of all those corny ads for cheap tat jewellery.

"We"? Does that mean you include your other half? We have a rule for our Thursday night drinks; someone threatened to bring their other half once, he hasn't ever made it out - perhaps because his other half didn't like the rule?

She wouldn't have any problems with me doing that as she regularly goes off out with just her mates. This friday had been arranged for a while (or so I was told last night).

We agreed to buy each other half a playstation each, but she'll also be getting a full english (breakfast ) tomorrow morning coz I got me some proper sausages (food ).

I have some proper bacon (but she's not getting any). I got scared because Stop and Shop seemed to stop doing it but they had it again at the weekend (different packaging so presumably they had to change their supplier).
