Loving the new series of Downton. Just watched tonight's episode and it screened a trailer for Monroe...starting tomorrow night.

Also liking Downton, we only just started watching the third series, but nice to see how the fashion is changing.

Cuckoo
New little comedy about a family, where the eldest daughter just came home from a gap year in Thailand, comes home married and now planning not to go to uni and the husband is the ultimate waster.
The dad's Greg Davies and the mum is the bird from Cold Feet.
Really dry, but really funny this, especially if you've kids like mine as I can sooo see this happening :/

Watching Cuckoo, hilarious. Reminds me of my youth and all the totally inappropriate boyfriends i tortured my parents with.

Hunted.
Anyone catch it? Have Melissa George, the Home and Away bird...about a spy being hunted...8 part series. Sounded like it might be interesting though, so it's on the list of shows to watch. Started last night.

We rather liked it, gritty bit of action drama, with some nice back story brewing.

I rather liked it but thought her character was a little implausible. What is she...Superwoman?

Spoiler:
Also how no one noticed the window thing is a little odd. Still, fun action drama.

Fresh Meat, back for a second series.
Don't know if I'll bother though, but it's about a bunch of students who are house mates. Was kind of amusing, but a little silly.

DCI Banks.
Back for another series starting with a 2 parter, this time he's searching for his brother, the team is suspecting him of being the killer, while he suspects his brother.

8 Out of 10 Cats, back for another series, which is always fun
Also, on PBS, the Midwives period drama...we never bothered catch it when it was on live as it didnt' sound very good, but catching a bit on PBS, kind of liked it, has Miranda Hart in it and she's surprisingly good in a serious role.
