Wonder if it'll be any good though....saying that, last series was less tedious than the couple before it have been.

Still end up watching it though :/

They just got really obnoxious and annoying for a while though.

Car stuff, great, filler stuff in between, just annoying and embarrassing.

Anyone catch the return of George Gently then? It's a good show but the last series did seem to drag on a little, so wondering where this one will go.

DCI Banks? We're waiting on the second parter before going back to this but hoping it'll be another good series as we liked the previous ones.

WPC 56 returns for a second series on BBC 1 at 2.15 pm on Monday.
Drama centred around a WPC in the 50's

I watched GG last night. it was quite good, but I think I prefer the earlier shows. I'll continue to watch to see how it unfolds.

I am waiting for the second part of Banks to air so that I can enjoy both back to back. I really like the books that show is based on.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2569488/ That one?

Sounds intriguing. Is the thing subtitled? I don't think I'd find the time to read a tv show these days

Don't think I have ever seen a Belgian TV show. Might dig it out for novelty value.

It's superb. Edge of seat stuff. "The Bridge" is pretty good as well but not sure if they are still on iPlayer.

If you want something REALLY good and gruesome, go for "Spirals" - French detective programme that has been on BBC 4 as well.

In fact, most things on BBC 4 are really good. Wonderful new channel - thanks Auntie !

Yes, it is subtitled. We were just recommended it by a friend of ours, so downloaded a couple of episodes earlier today and checked them and they were subtitled. I've still got the whole of Season 2 of The Bridge to work my way through yet though before then!
