Yes, thank goodness! Her mother makes well over the 125% limit, so she is going to be a joint sponsor, since my wife is still looking for a job

Yes, you're right. But isn't saying 'I got married so we could be together when she moves back to the US' basically stating the same thing, that I got married for a visa?

Oh good...I just think it sounds a bit dodgy if I do say that no one came, so I hope I won;t be asked. What we actually want to do is save up for a few years and then have a huge wedding party in the states which our families will attend. I guess I could tell them that, if they asked.

I'm not lying for a visa or anything, I am genuinely in love with my wife and just want to be able to stay with her, and she wants to raise our kids in the US near her mom, who is sick. Actually, I'd rather stay in the UK if I had my way!

We're on our 10th anniversary this year. We've outlasted a lot of "non-dodgy" relationships just out of this group.
